The fine wool of the Pashmina comes from the undercoat of the Himalayan Mountain Goat, indigenous to high altitudes of the Himalayan Mountain Range in Nepal, Pakistan and Northern India. Pashminas have been hand spun, woven and beautifully embroidered for over a thousand years.
