Our traditional kilims are pileless flat woven textiles most commonly produced in Turkey and Central Asia, utilizing 100% wool and vegetable dyes. Browsing through Asran's catalog you'll notice some repeating motifs. These are created by the weavers based on traditional symbols.

 

This kilim illustrates the themes of fertility and the protection of birth and marriage against the evil eye.
