Silk Suzani Tote Bag

The Suzani tote bag is made from a type of embroidered tribal textile made in Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and other Central Asian countries along the Silk Road region. Suzanis are usually made from a silk/cotton blend, with the most popular blend being a silk warp with cotton wefts. The Suzani fabric is often lightly dyed to produce a soft beige tint, which has been aptly named as 'tea wash'.
